Dr. Patrice L. Jackson-Ayotunde is Professor and Director of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduate Program at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore School of Pharmacy and Health Professions.

Her research focuses on drug discovery for new treatments for generalized and drug-resistant epilepsy.

She enjoys working closely with the UMES pharmacy students who organize the annual 5K Strides for Epilepsy event in Salisbury, MD. The event raises funds for UNA and CURE Epilepsy.

Dr. Jackson-Ayotunde resides in Salisbury, MD, with her husband and daughter.
