Charles H. “Chuck” Shorley Memorial

United Needs and Abilities mourns the loss of Charles H. “Chuck” Shorley, a respected community leader, real estate professional, and devoted advocate whose life was defined by service, leadership, and a commitment to helping others.

Chuck’s involvement with UNA began decades ago through his work with the community. What started as a commitment to supporting individuals in need grew into more than 30 years of dedicated service to the organization. During that time, Chuck served on the Board of Directors and contributed his knowledge, experience, and expertise to numerous committees. His work on the Properties Committee was especially valuable, as he generously shared his extensive background in housing development, property management, and real estate.

Chuck also served on UNA’s Executive Committee and was elected President of the Board of Directors twice, serving in 1996 and again in 1999. His leadership helped guide the organization, and his commitment remained steadfast throughout the decades that followed.

Beyond UNA, Chuck had a distinguished career in real estate spanning more than five decades. He was a respected broker, property manager, and REALTOR® leader who generously shared his professional knowledge with others while remaining deeply involved in the community.

Chuck was an integral part of the history and growth of United Needs and Abilities. His more than 30 years of dedication, leadership, and service have left a lasting mark on our organization and the countless lives we serve.

This is a tremendous loss for UNA. Chuck will be remembered not only for his expertise and leadership, but for his unwavering commitment to the organization and community he faithfully served.

Rest in peace, Chuck. Thank you for more than three decades of dedication to United Needs and Abilities. Your legacy will live on, and you will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Lovingly Submitted,

Your United Needs and Abilities Family
