La’Tisha Handy joined UNA in November of 2021. She graduated from Delaware Tech in 2017 with a degree in Accounting. Prior to receiving her degree in Accounting, La’Tisha completed her bachelors in Nursing in 2008. However, she learned she wanted to explore a different career path which led her to the Business field.
Since 2012, La’ Tisha has been increasing her knowledge and skills in Accounting. She came into Program in 2023 as their Program Support Assistant and moved on the become a Program Coordinator in 2024. She likes to refer to herself as “a jack of all trades”.
La’Tisha is a native of Delmar, DE. She is a mother of two. She is involved in many activities within her community as well a part of the youth leagues coaching staff. If she is not on the football field, she can be found coaching youth league basketball.
La’Tisha has stated, “I enjoy every bit of what I do… You probably wonder how I make time to get all of this done in life…… FIRST, PRIORITIZE!!! That’s about the only way I am able to keep up…”
