Troy Ray


For over 25 years, Troy Ray has worked with organizations whose purpose is to enrich the lives of a variety of people in need. Organizations such as The Salvation Army, Christian Shelter and Salisbury Christian School are but a few who have been recipients of his previous work . He also served proudly in the United States Army, as a Military Intelligence Analysis during Desert Storm.
  
Troy shares that his association with United Needs & Abilities, Inc. has been rewarding and has given him insight into the needs of people facing challenges due to their disability; giving him a purpose and an opportunity to serve.

 “To love as if it is the only thing that matters” is his moto for life. Although, when asked who he is, he stated that his story is “ever evolving” but shares his most significant experience in life has been in meeting his wife. Without her in his world, Troy believes his life would be dramatically different and credits her with assisting him in being the person he is today.

As Professional Development Manager, Troy has as his goal to train, encourage, and support our team of Direct Support Professionals with compassion and empowering education. Living by the creed, “all people matter and have value” Troy attempts to make the world a brighter place by being an ambassador of kindness to all.

Professionally, Troy holds an undergraduate degree in Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution and is pursuing graduate studies in Leadership Management.  

For enjoyment, Troy loves to read and cook. He lives in Salisbury with his wife and love of his life.
